This is why I chose to join the Raleigh International voluntary expedition to Malaysian Borneo, to try and inspire others, to change their mindset and live in different and more conscious way.
The expedition lasts for 10 weeks and is divided principally into a social phase, where we work with the communities to build wells and infrastructures and implement proper sanitation procedures; and an environmental phase where we help facilitate the conservation of biodiversity andmake the documentation of new species a possibility, be it building bridges or any kind of infrastructures needed.
It's a great chance to visit new places and social environments, learn about a different culture and different perspectives, and make my own conclusions about what I've seen. It will be an experience I never forget.

HOW
For the expedition Raleigh International requires the candidate to embark on a fundraising challenge of which all profits go 100% to Raleigh International's work, this is a fantastic learning opportunity and a huge help to the work we will be taking part in.
